Attic and basement conversions
An attic or basement is often the cheapest way to add square metres. We turn attics and basements into bedrooms, offices and sauna suites.
In attic conversions insulation, ventilation and fire regulations decide the job. In basements it is moisture control. Both need a permit and a designer.

Can an attic become a living space?
Often, yes. It depends on ceiling height, structure and the local plan, and needs a permit.
Is the basement too damp to live in?
A moisture survey tells us before any design. We tell you honestly what makes sense.
Who designs the conversion?
The permit drawings are made by a designer.
General questions
How much will it cost?
It always depends on the job, so we do not quote blind. We come and look and give you a quote. Asking for a quote does not commit you to anything.
Who makes the decisions?
You do. We explain the options and give recommendations from long experience, but the final choices are always yours.
Does the household tax deduction apply?
For private individuals, usually on the labour share when the work is done in your own home or holiday home.
Where do you work?
Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Kauniainen, Kirkkonummi and Sipoo. For larger jobs, elsewhere in Uusimaa too.
Can I deal with you in English?
Yes. Jason and the crew work in English.
Are your contractor’s obligations in order?
Yes. We are a Tilaajavastuu.fi Luotettava Kumppani, so tax, pension insurance and other records are verifiable.
