Floor renovations
A new floor changes a room in one go. We lay parquet, laminate, vinyl and tile, and in older houses we level the floor before the new surface. Skirting and thresholds are finished properly.
The substrate decides the result: levelling, impact sound insulation and the right underlay are the most important part of the job, even though you never see them in the finished floor.

Which flooring suits me?
It depends on the room, use and budget. We explain the pros and cons and you decide.
Can new flooring go over the old?
Sometimes. We check the substrate and heights first.
Is impact sound insulation needed in an apartment?
Usually the housing company requires it. We follow their guidelines.
How long does a floor renovation take?
A normal room usually takes a few days; drying times for levelling can add to that.
General questions
How much will it cost?
It always depends on the job, so we do not quote blind. We come and look and give you a quote. Asking for a quote does not commit you to anything.
Who makes the decisions?
You do. We explain the options and give recommendations from long experience, but the final choices are always yours.
Does the household tax deduction apply?
For private individuals, usually on the labour share when the work is done in your own home or holiday home.
Where do you work?
Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Kauniainen, Kirkkonummi and Sipoo. For larger jobs, elsewhere in Uusimaa too.
Can I deal with you in English?
Yes. Jason and the crew work in English.
Are your contractor’s obligations in order?
Yes. We are a Tilaajavastuu.fi Luotettava Kumppani, so tax, pension insurance and other records are verifiable.
