New builds
We build timber-framed detached houses, semi-detached houses and holiday homes in the Helsinki region and Uusimaa. We do the framing and interior work to the client’s designs, from foundations to move-in.
Jason qualified as a carpenter in 2001 and has worked in construction in six countries, and the company has operated in Helsinki since 2011. We know the Finnish way of building and what is done differently elsewhere.
On a new build the schedule and communication matter most: we report every week where things stand and agree changes before they are made.
Common questions
Do you also erect kit houses?
Yes. We erect the kit and do the interior work, or build the house from scratch to your drawings.
Do you build holiday homes?
Yes, cabins and holiday homes in the Helsinki region and Uusimaa.
Can I order just part of the work?
Yes, for example the frame or the interior work. The scope is agreed with you.
How long does building a house take?
It depends on the size and scope. The schedule is agreed before we start and we keep you updated.
Who handles the permits?
The permit is applied for in the owner’s name, usually with the lead designer.
General questions
How much will it cost?
It always depends on the job, so we do not quote blind. We come and look and give you a quote. Asking for a quote does not commit you to anything.
Who makes the decisions?
You do. We explain the options and give recommendations from long experience, but the final choices are always yours.
Does the household tax deduction apply?
For private individuals, usually on the labour share when the work is done in your own home or holiday home.
Where do you work?
Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Kauniainen, Kirkkonummi and Sipoo. For larger jobs, elsewhere in Uusimaa too.
Can I deal with you in English?
Yes. Jason and the crew work in English.
Are your contractor’s obligations in order?
Yes. We are a Tilaajavastuu.fi Luotettava Kumppani, so tax, pension insurance and other records are verifiable.
