Roof renovations and ceilings
The roof and the floor are where a house meets the weather and the ground. We renew roofs, repair roof structures and build ceilings and floors from the substructure to the finish.
On a roof job we first find out what is under the covering. Often the underlay, ventilation and eaves need more attention than the sheet metal itself.
For floors we do battening, levelling and finishes: parquet, laminate, vinyl and tile. In old houses we level the floor before laying anything new.
Common questions
How do I know the roof needs renewing?
Leaks, moss, rust, loose flashings and the age of the covering are signs. We come and look and tell you honestly whether a repair is enough.
Can a roof be renovated in winter?
Large roof jobs are usually done when there is no snow; small repairs at other times weather permitting.
What can a roof renovation include?
Renewing the covering, underlay, battens, eaves and penetrations as needed. The scope is agreed with you.
Do you do suspended ceilings and panelling?
Yes, in homes and business premises.
Does a roof renovation need a permit?
Changing the material or colour may.

How much will it cost?
It always depends on the job, so we do not quote blind. We come and look and give you a quote. Asking for a quote does not commit you to anything.
Who makes the decisions?
You do. We explain the options and give recommendations from long experience, but the final choices are always yours.
Does the household tax deduction apply?
For private individuals, usually on the labour share when the work is done in your own home or holiday home.
Where do you work?
Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Kauniainen, Kirkkonummi and Sipoo. For larger jobs, elsewhere in Uusimaa too.
Can I deal with you in English?
Yes. Jason and the crew work in English.
Are your contractor’s obligations in order?
Yes. We are a Tilaajavastuu.fi Luotettava Kumppani, so tax, pension insurance and other records are verifiable.
