Kitchen renovations
Most of a kitchen renovation happens behind the cabinets: straightening walls, moving sockets and water points, levelling the floor. When the base is right, the units sit straight and last.
We install units from any manufacturer, and often the customer has already chosen the kitchen. If you have not, we will tell you what to look for and what the installation needs.
Splashback tiling, worktop fitting and trims are where a kitchen's quality shows. We do those ourselves, carefully.
Common questions
How long will I be without a kitchen?
Typically 1–2 weeks. We sequence the work so a water point stays usable as long as possible.
Can you do the floor at the same time?
Yes. It is often sensible to renew the floor and paint the walls in the same visit.
Do you install IKEA or other flat-pack kitchens?
Yes. We install units from any manufacturer, including IKEA.
Can the kitchen layout be changed?
Often, yes. In apartment buildings moving water and drain points needs the housing company’s permission. We look at the options on site.
Do you install appliances too?
Yes: ovens, hob, dishwasher and cooker hood. Electrical and water connections are done by our partners.
Is it worth doing other work at the same time?
Often the floor, painting and lighting are worth doing in one go. We explain the options and you decide.
General questions
How much will it cost?
It always depends on the job, so we do not quote blind. We come and look and give you a quote. Asking for a quote does not commit you to anything.
Who makes the decisions?
You do. We explain the options and give recommendations from long experience, but the final choices are always yours.
Does the household tax deduction apply?
For private individuals, usually on the labour share when the work is done in your own home or holiday home.
Where do you work?
Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Kauniainen, Kirkkonummi and Sipoo. For larger jobs, elsewhere in Uusimaa too.
Can I deal with you in English?
Yes. Jason and the crew work in English.
Are your contractor’s obligations in order?
Yes. We are a Tilaajavastuu.fi Luotettava Kumppani, so tax, pension insurance and other records are verifiable.
